The origins of A Course in Miracles can be tracked back to the collaboration between two people, Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford, equally of whom were outstanding psychologists and researchers. She described these dictations as coming from an internal style that identified itself as Jesus Christ. Schucman originally resisted these experiences, but with Thetford’s support, she started transcribing the communications she received.
